I feel the same way about Stardust and I read the book first.

Yep, me too. But with the exception of Good Omens*, I tend to like adaptations of Gaiman's work more than the originals.

*And have never found a Pratchett adaptation I really loved, which I think is why I only liked the GO show.

Interesting…

I think I feel the same about Gaiman adaptations, with the exception of Sandman (in addition to Good Omens).

But I did enjoy several Pratchett adaptations. None of them were better than the books for me, but still plenty of fun and worth recommending to people who I know won’t bother with the books.
