Light on the hurt heavy on the comfort?

I love hc fic where a lot of the hurt is alluded to or happens off screen and the majority if the fic is confort and recovery. People having to rediscover being human and being supported and loved etc etc etc. I have been having a tough time finding anything lately, just fic that promises comfort but turns out to be closer to torture pork with one paragraph of comfort at the end. :/

Prefer m/m pairings but will honestly read anything. I'll read most fandoms old or new, though I don't care for ones that focus on kids or teens too much. Also don't care for Harry Potter in general.

I find the ghostsoap fandom very good for comfort fics though you do have to slog through torture pork lol to find it at times. Decent chances you'll find what you're looking for here, though uncompleted.
