To be totally honest sometimes I'll read fic of totally random stuff, if it's well written and uses familiar tropes, and I obviously enjoy pretty boy fanart of whatever, lol. I kind of enjoy the mystery and can more or less follow along. The different quirks of different fandoms can be interesting to see in themselves. Like if a certain type of AU is super popular, or there's a ton of a certain trope. Most of the time I stick to my own fandoms. I'm most likely to do this with really big fandoms with tons of art and fic, presently active or with lots of older stuff.
