I think it was a reminder how out of touch rich people are from the rest of us, especially those with little resources and finances.

Yeah, must be easy to think of a happy utopia where all we do is sit at home and record ourselves singing a lyric to a John Lennon until this whole "social distancing" thing is "over".
Some of us still had to go into work while the majority of people remained at home. We had to put on masks and wash our hands and deal with people yelling at us for following guidelines and trying not to catch this deadly disease.
Some of us were stricken with grief constantly hearing of family/friends/neighbors/coworkers going to the hospital and/or dying and we couldn't be there for them or their loved ones.
Some of us were terrified that we had no way to pay for food or shelter, much less knew if we would have that??

Like, if these rich folks really wanted us all to "make it through this" they would have opened their wallets up and given money to people on the brink of destitution.

But we know that's not going to happen so celebrities deserved that public dragging.
