I find the vitriol against Emma expressed by Rupert fans rather ironic, given their inability to cope with any kind of criticism against their precious. Rupert is untouchable but anyone else is fair game, hypocrites.

I think Their insecurities come into play, they know Emma has a career after HP, unlike their ugly red-head, who will -rightfully so- fall into obscurity after the HP movies are over. He's the most untalented of the young actors, and unlike Emma, he doesn't even have his looks to fall back on, seeing how he looks like his eyes are about to come out of its sockets. And then there is his 'acting' range, using the term acting loosely, which is limited to surprised and confused.

Enjoy the ugly bloke while you can, no one but you gives a fuck and he'll disappear after HP.
