Prelim reports from reddit are suggesting the type of crowd at each showing is incredibly variable. Some have had the party crowds, some have had a quieter vibe. I got a pretty quiet vibe and I was happy with it. I'm sorry you didn't get the vibe you wanted.

That's something that's true with literally any movie, too. It really all just depends on the group you get at that particular showing.

Hell, I remember going to see the new Star Wars movies in theaters. I went to an evening showing for The Force Awakens and the theater was packed and everyone was cheering and yelling for things. I went to a matinee for The Last Jedi and the crowd was much smaller and less vocal, probably because it was a lot more parents with kids at that hour.
