I haven't read all his stuff (because lbr he's written a lot), but I definitely recommend IT, Carrie, Pet Semetary, Dead Zone, Misery, and his short stories written under Richard Backman.

I see fandom is being fandom again... Like, it's great to have whatever personal headcanon you find the most fun way to interpret the characters. People aren't doing anything wrong by disagreeing and going with their own personal headcanon. It's so weird that they've rationalized how it would be literally impossible for it to be any other way (and even if it WERE canon, I throw away parts of canon I don't care for all the time...).

The original Italian word they borrowed it from is pronounced gee-blee, the pronunciation of the Japanese transliteration of the studio's name is jee-bu-ree.

I think it was you, lol. I definitely liked the style of writing but the story was a bit meh to me and it didn't help that I didn't find any of the characters especially likeable which is often a dealbreaker for me in horror.
