Same, everyone always responds to this with "elder Millennial nostalgia" or whatever but I am an elder Millennial and I fucking hated how overexposed this song was at the time. The only "nostalgia" it causes me is I get to re-vist being 20 and rolling my eyes really hard that I had to listen to it at a club at closing time yet again.

In the interest of fairness to The Killers... that "Don't Shoot Me Santa" Christmas song they did makes me laugh.

I too am an elder Millennial (although I prefer calling myself an Old Ass Millennial). Somehow, I managed to avoid this song in its heyday but suspect my nostalgia would match yours.
