My overhead fan has not had a day off in its life.

I do most of the time. I live with my mother, and she likes it warmer than I do. So I use the ceiling fan to make my room a little more comfortable.

Yo!

Even when I get too cold, I won't turn them off, because I need moving air, or I start feeling suffocated and anxious.

I have a fan with temperature control, so it turns on when it gets too warm, regardless of time of year (60 degrees, I like it cold). I actually want to get a new one but can't find ANY STAND FANS with temperature control. Like..??????

I used to but they’re a pain to clean and even if you take care of them they wear out after 2 years, tops. I replaced my last one with a white noise machine that included a fan sound, although I eventually switched over to using the rain sound. It helps drown out outside noises better so my dogs stay more relaxed.

Yup. It's a perfect white noise device and keeps the air moving.

Most days I do but during colder days I don't. Currently don't have heat in my home so I blast my space heater on cold days until I'm ready for bed. Cozy warmth to help me fall asleep and as my room cools down I can sleep longer.
