Mine would be power metal, symphonic metal, scores, electronic pop, medieval and choral Christmas, dance, reggae, soca, most pop styles honestly, techno jazz, Reggaeton/latin pop, and classic rock.

Movie/TV/Games original scores. Instrumental Post-Rock. Classic rock. I've been listening to a lot of Darksynth/Cyberpunk lately as well.

Duolingo

I've been using it for Spanish for two years now. Could probably read a pre-k kid's book. But man, it had fucked my phone's predictive text.

Hahah I feel you. Maybe try and download a Spanish keyboard on your phone and switch to it when you use Duolingo?

Annoying but at least you wouldn't be spelling things wonky/auto correct to Spanish then.

How did your Monday go?

Had an endoscopy this morning. Still a little groggy from the anesthesia. Slept most of the afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be super busy at work, trying not to be too worried about all I have to get done.

Meetings all day. Tomorrow I am donating blood. If they have run out of the GITD skeleton shirts, I might have to throw hands with someone.

I’ve been insanely busy all month and it’s all just caught up with me today :( My body is not happy with me but I’ve done some awesome stuff and I’m proud so I’m trying not to whine too much about all the pain, brain fog, and tiredness. I wish I were even half as healthy as people say I look.

Mixed.

I got a promotion. I'm sensitive about sharing my good news with people. Thought my best friend would be unconditionally supportive of the news...

Only to have them ignore my "Got the promotion!" text.

I am sad to see my friend be petty and ignore me (for whatever reason/s) but I'm reminding myself no one owes me what I want.

I know now not to share my good news with this friend (or at least, not to expect anything from them if I do).

On the flipside, I was talking to another friend and she asked if I heard back on my interview. Completely forgot to talk to her about it and when I told her I got the position she gave me such a sweet "congrats!! I'm so happy for you!"

It rocks when I realize I can get the validation I desire from a place that wants to give it to me! Rather than hoping someone unreliable will, this time?
