Yesterday was a bit spicy.

Calm. Just chilling at home with my dog and getting through my TBR pile.

Nice. I got lots of rest. Allergies are bad, so I've had to take a bunch of benadryl. About to take a nap.

I finished the last divine beast! And I only had to fight the boss once. So, now to prepare for Ganon.

Yeah, I got to start stocking up on better weapons and foods. I think I can get the Master Sword?

I sprained my foot badly yesterday so all I did was sit around with ice and take Tylenol. Today's better: I can flex my toes/foot more, there's less pain but it's still a bit of a problem hobbling around to the bathroom. Thank goodness my relative gave me one of her walkers (she has 2).

Nice and calm for me. I noticed a couple threads multiplying faster than rabbits yesterday but I never waste my energy on those.
I built a Lego set of Hokusai’s Great Wave and then started on another Lego set building a train station vaguely based on King’s Cross.

My husband and I cleaned out our adopted drain and made plans to adopt another. I also picked up some trash around my neighborhood.

Much better now that the air has cleared up and we can open the windows again. Though it is waaaay too warm to be November.

Way too warm here, too :( And a forest fire started a few miles away last night so no open window for us. Luckily so far it went wide of us but we have bags packed and pet supplies waiting at the door in case we need to evacuate.

Noooo! November should at least be wildfire free!

I went to see FNAF in Saturday morning and then went to my parents for a birthday dinner.

I am gonna need parents to realise that just because a movie is PG13 and technically their under-thirteen can see it with their guidance, doesn't mean they should.

Woman had her son (maybe 6ish?). They left with the son crying before the trailers had even finished because guess what, THEY WERE ALL HORROR TRAILERS BEFORE A HORROR FILM!

Also birthday dinner was delicious, my niece made me a Rainbow Brite cake, and I got nice presents. :)

I'm in the UK and the FNAF movie is rated 15 here, which had initially surprised me because I had expected it to be a lower rating - that is until I saw the movie and saw why it got the rating that it did.

Makes you wonder what, exactly, the parents thought a first grader would find enjoyable about that movie experience.

Worked. Had Saturday off, but ended up going in for 5 hours to cover for someone. Oh well.

Went to see a musical with my wife then assembled a shelf together.

Ooh, what musical?

Hadestown! Never saw or listened to it before and didn't read anything about it before the show, got tickets a few months ago and really enjoyed it. The lighting was amazing. It's been a really long time since I've seen a big budget stage performance so I was blown away by the effects and how cool it was seeing a big musical live.

Was there shelf-related singing?

Not nearly long enough. ;o; I got food poisoning Friday night so Saturday ended up being a very flat day and honestly, today ended up being pretty flat too. :\ But I managed to read half of an entire, non-fandom related book! So that's pretty crazy.

Nice, but exhausting; friends came to visit, which was lovely of them, but didn't really listen when I said how limited for energy I am. Hence, worn out, and I'm being picked up by more friends for a few days' visit in a couple of hours' time. Everyone wants to meet up in October. :(

I need to get off the internet.
