It's still my favourite Transformers movie too! I remember being sad when Soundwave died, since he was always one of my favourite characters.

Soundwave made it through the movie. Are you thinking of one of the many other characters who died in it instead?

Huh, for some reason I thought he got kicked off the spaceship by Starscream, along with Megatron. To be fair, it's been many, many years since I saw the movie, so my memory is obviously fuzzy >.<
