I miss the MCU fics from when everyone had them living in the tower together.

I miss when the Legend of the Seeker fandom was active. That was such a fun, though short-lived fandom.

I miss kinkmemes. I don't even miss them for the kinks. I just wish comment fic forums were popular again. :(

Yes! I miss them too. I found my main fandom and one of my two OTPs thanks to a kinkmeme.

Yes! Having the discussions and just little snippets of fic and ideas would morph and it was just a great time. You can find a pale shadow of it in Discord, but it's too ephemeral. I miss kinkmemes.

Kinkmemes were the best!

It was so fun just popping off the ideas that aren't thick enough for a real story but might inspire someone else. And just talking about ideas and how they might evolve. Just every single bit.

We lost something special when we lost kinkmemes.

I miss kinkmemes too, even the fic prompt memes that weren't just for kink. Besides there being one active for a sub part of a fandom I'm in (an AEW one for wrestling fandom), none of my fandoms seem to have active kinkmemes anymore and it kind of makes me sad I have no place to drop rare pair ideas I'm the only bugger shipping.

I miss fandom_wank, as in the old Journalfen community. It was usually full of laffs (and funny icons).

In retrospect I didn't like some of meanness/bullying (though that was diet of inherent to early 2000s internet commentary). But other than that I found it hilarious and loved the layers of in jokes. I'm disappointed that they weren't there for some great recent wanks, like destiel becoming canon or that author who faked her own death.

I have so much nostalgia for Tower fics. The MCU was my top fandom during that time but I fell out of the fandom around the time that era ended.

Active fandom groups on Deviantart, mostly back in my Undertale days where people would comment so much on fan theories and funny shit-posting.

There are still fandom groups on DA that are still active, but in light of Wix 's recent posts I haven't really logged on for the past month.
