I don't like children much, they're too loud and overstimulating for me, BUT it's not their fault and I don't deliberately go to places I know they'll be. So if I wanted to go see a kid's movie I'd go later at night to reduce the chance of kids there and accept the fact that there will be some anyway. It's not hard to just... not be a dick about not wanting to be around kids much.

+1, I have an auditory processing disorder that makes loud shrieks and laughs physically painful for me. But I don't go around demanding that kids be banned from public places! I just avoid likely kid-heavy areas as much as possible and (when it's not possible) earplugs.

Same. Another anon here with auditory issues that just avoid going to crowded places altogether.
I'm childfree and don't like interacting with children much, but I actually like seeing children having fun and screaming or running around (of course where it's appropriate to do so). It just should not be too near to me or in a closed space with me inside.
Kids are people and I like when other people have fun.
