Flower sales

I found some mums on sale for $1 each at the big box store today and planted them in a new garden. There is a slight chance they will even come back next year! But I'm just happy saving some plants and that I actually got them planted in a timely manner.

Its been cold enough that my cats now cuddle at night. I love it so much.

Progressing in my fic somewhat, so there's that.

Also am getting out of something I wasn't excited to go to (it's nobody's fault and I had intended to go), and will have a proper four day weekend with some degree of relaxation (I asked for time off).

I went to the hobby tropical fruit sale and bought some vanilla orchid cuttings for $3/each.

I don't know that I'll keep them alive, but my cacao seedling is several years old and still surviving, so maybe?

I've sketched the first painting I am doing in a year. I want to make it oil, so it's annoying because I can't do oil painting in a flat so I need to go to a studio. But on the other hand I've found studio in a walking distance from me so it's cool
