They tried a Take. Give them that, it wasn't just a straight up copy'paste job, they tried to put a spin on it, to bring something new, they tried... They tried, bless them.

Yeah, but their showrunners were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

But no, yeah, isekai would be a cool new genre they could use (and abuse!) that hasn't been touched before.
