After clicking on the image, I admit I still don't find them scary. Then again, I tend not to be scared by typical things. I find lampreys more terrifying than this image.

Honestly, the Cybermen are the only ones that scare me. Daleks will just kill you and Weeping Angels will steal your time energy, but if the Cybermen don’t kill you, they will upgrade you and that’s even more horrifying IMO.

No I get where you're coming from op. Daleks ARE very silly looking, not sure I'd say wistful for the Weeping Angels but I do find them kinda more, conceptually interesting, than terrifying. I'd still give the Cybermen a chance though. They vary between silly/camp and genuinely pretty creepy. (And even if you don't have the intended reaction, could still be fun.)
