(Anonymous) 2023-11-24 12:15 am (UTC)(link)And I feel like ABO fics are taking over everything. I wouldn't mind but it's everywhere ToT
Generally ABO doesn't bother me, not my cup of tea, and I will read some from time to time but I wish I could take a break from them a little more.

(Anonymous) 2023-11-24 01:12 am (UTC)(link)In that sense, perhaps there's more ABO in this scenario cause it's easier to write ABO instead of making a universe where two guys/ladies are in smth arranged with the whole acknowledgement of not being able to have (biological) children.
Not to say arranged marriage fics have to be about progeny, but a good chunk of them historically are about that sort of thing. So ehhhh???

(Anonymous) 2023-11-24 03:11 am (UTC)(link)Now, I don't actually mind omegaverse stuff so I'm not a hater. Though I do prefer omegaverse fics that actually have characterisation that contributes to the romance as well as secondary gender asexual shenanigans. But that is my take on why it's so popular to include in other tropes.
