That was me. I didn't know who Jeremy Allen White was, so I Googled his name + hot and amusingly, Google came up with a photo where he looked physically overheated and I decided to go with that one!

In pictures, I think he’s fugly. But on film I’d describe him more as interesting because he is very expressive from what I’ve seen, both in facial features and body language. And I can easily see how his personality (or his character’s personality) would make him hot to someone.

He's got wonderfully interesting features, which to me often means attractive. Love unconventional looks. His eyes and nose are particularly great. As others mentioned, he has spades of charisma as well.

I never heard of him before now, but based on that picture and a quick Google image search, I'd say all of those adjectives are fair descriptors of him. (Assuming that the speaker is using "stunning" as a synonym for "arresting", rather than as shorthand for "stunningly gorgeous".)

I'd maybe quibble a bit if he were described as "handsome", but even then: taste is subjective, and if he tips over the line from attractive/hot to handsome for some people, that wouldn't be wholly unexpected.

Never heard of him, but I agree, looking at pictures he does not look conventionally attractive at all (weak mouth and the bags under his eyes being the main things; also, his head is kind of big for his shoulders/chest). Definitely not ugly, but just not someone that fits in the narrow conventional definition of "hot." I wonder if it's more a case of his personality being something people find attracive (and for an actor, that means more that a specific role he has played/is famous for is someone people find particularly fun/interesting/hot).

I had to google guy (and yep, I haven't seen anything he's in lol) but he seems average? Like I wouldn't say he's "conventionally" hot, but there are some people who are also more attractive in motion and still images don't do them justice.

When I watched him on Shameless, my exact and frequent thought was "Good actor, too bad about the face." So, yes, I've been feeling like I'm the target of some sort of social experiment every time I see someone insisting how hot he is.
