Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Tomorrow is my niece's birthday so that will take up all of my Saturday. Sunday will be recovery from that. Lol.

Going to visit a friend on Sunday and tomorrow I'm hoping to do a bit more Christmas shopping (mostly aiming to find some kind of lavender scented lotion/wash set since that's what my Mum has asked for) and then either watch the new Doctor Who or watch the rest of R.O.D the tv series.

Sleeping, reading, doing laundry from my Thanksgiving visit to relatives, watching that new Luther movie.

Working as I have the weekend shift the next two weeks. But I'll have the evenings to myself to play some video games.

Just got my flu and covid shots today, so I'll be recovering all weekend.

Do they really hit you that bad? I got a flu shot last week and I was fine. The only side effect I've ever gotten was feeling tired and slightly rundown a little over 24 hours after the flu vaxx.

The flu vax has never really given me issues. The covid vax makes me tired as fuck. When my number came up for the first covid vax, I took the whole day off work just in case even though I was scheduled in the first batch of the day, which was smart of me cause I came home and slept for hours.

Last year I did both of them together and was exhausted and achy for about a day and a half. So I made sure this year to get them on a friday so I have the weekend to recover. I'm sixteen hours in now, and ten of that was sleeping. I think I'm going to go have a nap. XD

I am helping my friend to declutter a flat.
Also having a game morning, because my nerd group is morning crowd, it's perfect.
Can't decide if I want to go to excursion. Pluses: I am interested in a theme and have found cheaper guide by people who usually do decent programs.
Minuses: it's cold and I still can't get in a winter body mode. And I am anon who lost their job, so even cheaper is still money. Also I don't know this guide. Choices choices

Well, I don't have a job I have time :D :D (I need to start looking into it and I still have side jobs to do but I am going to allow myself a bit of a pause)
I am going to spend my evening with a TV show anyway though
