So, first of all, aren't you also, right now, telling people what they can and cannot do in fandom?

Second, your position is that purposely seeking out fans of a character that you dislike and pestering them is not "anti" behavior, and that this is something you should be allowed to do, and that if someone doesn't like it, they're clutching pearls?

You seem to not understand who the harasser is. The situation is thus:


"I like to talk about characters I don't like on my blog."

Person comes in "How dare you bash thing that I like! You can't do that, given that, you know, there's already those men out there treating them like crap."

Blogger "I'll bash what I want, thank, and if you keep trying to tell me what I can and cannot do, that's harassment and you will be blocked."

You: blogger, how dare you harass them!

They never said they did it on their blogs, they said they'd bash whatever character they want. Where that is: who knows, but if it's outside their blog or if they tag it then it's going into the wild west of the fandom and negative pushback WILL happen, and it is incredibly bonkers to act like it shouldn't.

No, you can go and bash whoever you like. I'm not your mom. But if there's a thread going on talking about things they don't like about a character, you don't HAVE to go in and talk about how reading that thread hurts your feelings because you DO like that character so they're not allowed to do that. They didn't come into your house, don't go into their thread. DLDR and GTFO.
