And now Amazon is refusing to refund shipping payment even though it won't be here today and I paid to have it here today (getting here tomorrow would have been free).

While we're talking about shipping woes, I asked for something to be delivered to a post office branch which according to the website shuts at 8, which was perfect since I could still go after work. Went after work and got told that none of the three staff on duty were post office trained so I'd have to come back the next day before 2, when the one trained staff member was in. :>

It wasn't a massively urgent parcel, was just a bit disappointed and annoyed at the idea of everything falling on one person. I've been that person in previous retail jobs and it sucks arse.
