Dunno, maybe using evil witches as a way to pass the Bechdel Test while exposing the concept's flaws?

Duh the concept has "flaws". It's not supposed to be perfect. It's just supposed to highlight a common media issue. Female characters, no matter how evil, in a scene together discussing anything other than a man, is still a successful pass with no actual because that's literally all the test is for.

Ah nuts I'm responding to this quite late, but in case you see this OP: in the recent game Baldur's Gate 3 there's a delightfully acted/voice acted hag character named Auntie Ethel. She's perfectly infuriating and I enjoy her very much- cutscenes and voice clips should be available on youtube, I imagine
