I kind of get it. Actively interacting with fandom just tires me out. I don't want to vocalize my thoughts on the media I'm enjoying and I don't want to do fanworks right now. I just want to enjoy stuff alone or with a couple of friends and work on my original art pieces.
I've never been into massive social media platforms, but I've always hopped through small communities (LJ/DW/Reddit) or forums. Lately I've completely stopped even that.
But lurking? Still fun. I do it much less nowadays, but going for a fanfiction/fanart hunt still does it for me.

I hope you'll get to enjoy fandom again, nonny.
I think that for me becoming old means just concentrating my energy more into my original ideas and actively participating in fandom eats that time. F!S is the only fandom related community I still "enjoy".
