Yeah, that sounds like one of those OCD things I've struggled with, though most of my intrusive thoughts involve vividly picturing accidents rather than deliberate acts, it's still distressing. The idea about writing it down and destroying the note sounds really good.

Wait, picturing accidents can be an OCD thing? I mean wait, duh, but also I somehow didn't know that?? I get intrusive thoughts about doing something to insult or injure others sometimes but I honestly have more problems with picturing bad things happening to people in accidents, to the point that I avoid certain activities and locations because I imagine accidents so vividly during them, never realized it could be the same type of thing.
