I like both seasons, but I missed seeing the zanier characters.

I thought it was still pretty quirky. Not AS quirky, but an effort was made

Same. But also I like Pratchett's writing and don't like Gaiman's and feel like the quality took a huge dip when it became all Gaiman's work rather than a collab. And I already didn't like the changes he made in season one anyway.

Mm, it makes sense, as s2 is a lot of Gaiman trying to bridge what he and Pratchett originally wrote in the book to what they had of a never-published sequel. I like both writers, whereas a lot of my Pratchett fandom friends AREN'T Gaiman fans, but I am still looking forward to seeing more of Terry Pratchett in s3. Even if it's predominately going to be Gaiman's work in the writing of it, there are going to be nuggets that came from what they worked out together and I'm excited for that!

I think he tried to work a little Terry into s2, but it isn't the same as having something the man *wrote*, and even if their sequel novel never got off the ground as such, I mean... there's going to be something there that will come through.
