I really liked Season 4, but I kind of felt like they were running out of steam during Season 5. Sad but also accepting that this will be the last season.

Yes. I just want this week to be over. I've got little enough social contact as it is. I'm my mother's back up plan for Christmas Day. Someone was going to have me to stay before Christmas and I kept the dates open; was in a skype meeting with her just now and it wasn't mentioned at all. So I'm left high and dry. Cards sent: approx 25. Cards received: 3. I'm not enjoying myself. I'm too long-term ill to invite people round, because I have very little strength; I invited two people round and no go (though one said she'd rather be with me than with family, babysitting.) But I'm feeling very small and unwanted right now. Being long term ill sucks.

This has been the year that keeps on giving for me. And today I have a migraine and had two root canals, one of which was really difficult. Took 4 hours. I'm in so much pain right now I can barely think straight. Had to take a vacation day at work because I couldn't manage to make it in after the dentist.

I'm no sorry, anon. Two root canals is more than anyone should be asked to cope with. Having to take a vacation day because you're in such pain is awful and reminds me why people in your country hate living is such a brutal system. I hope with all my heart you feel better soon.

Same. Christmas just isn’t happening at my house for the third year running. I feel like I should be more upset about that than I am but I just want to fast forward to when everything goes back to routine. We had a scramble getting my dog’s medication filled early because of holiday closures. It’s been hell trying to source the foods we need for our pets and me (I’m on a super special strictly limited diet and two of our three pets are special needs), and not being able to get things like dog treats because Amazon has a one week lead time before shipping. We ran out for two weeks because we couldn’t afford to order before we got paid on the 4th and then it didn’t ship until the 12th. We’ve been to every possible store within a 30 mile radius and no one stocks the stuff and Chewy doesn’t carry it so we were just screwed for all that time. We returned the few gifts we’d bought and used the money to stock up on pet supplies to last halfway through January because it’s rough when we suddenly can’t give them the right foods and treats. Health and behavior problems, plus feeling guilty. The cost of living increase just steamrolled us extra hard the last couple months and canine chemotherapy is so expensive…the last thing I want to do is spend a ton of money on a single day.

I'm so, so sorry. That's a whole lot for one person to deal with. And I totally get you on the money thing. Expensive dental work, car repair, and other medical bills are adding up and I don't even know. We're just doing cards this year, thankfully.

Or at least after Christmas is over for me. I can't sleep because I'm so anxious of having to spend the days with my brother who I spoke last to a little less than a year ago where he punched me in the face a few times and my parents pretend like it wasn't a big deal/I was at fault so... yay.
