Thanks. I've got a fever and I didn't get any presents. But my mom is awesome so I'm still happy. It's not her fault I didn't get any presents. We'd been told only bring presents for the kids, but everyone else had bought each other gifts anyway. I was the only öne out of eleven guests who didn't get a single gift and the gift exchange took two hours.

I dunno if it's just my shitty family, but I would immediately think this was intentional. For instance, I still remember a christmas when I was about 10 or so (about 30 years ago) where my maternal aunt got everyone slippers in the form of cats or dogs - except for just me and my mom. She got us pigs. I was gutted. If my family said we were only bringing presents for the kids, and then everyone else actually did get presents except me that would probably be the last christmas I would attend.

Have as good a Christmas as possible anyway, and I'm sorry about the Scrooges not getting you anything. I hope they feel embarrassed.

I'm on my own today, except for going to see my mum in her Care Home. No-one else will bother. I got some nice little gifts from my friends, though.
