Yeah, I'm dealing with this as well, and it's especially galling when it's in a type of media that traditionally only has one season. It's not an american show; it didn't get cancelled, they only planned for THIS. Stop asking when season two is coming.

LOL, yeah, I can relate to this, too. I totally sympathize with wanting to spend more time in a world with a group of characters, or feeling like there could be more story to tell with them, or so on.

But yes, I do think there are some stories that are a limited story for a reason, and it always seems whenever they are extended beyond the limited story they intended to tell, it doesn't seem to work and then it gets to the point where people regret it coming back at all.

I do think our entertainment culture is having a hard time with finality and letting things end - it's to the point now where, when a show has its series finale, it's hard to be all that sad while watching it because in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "Yeah, but they'll probably reboot/revive this in a few years." There is a poignancy to a canon coming to an end that I do like and which I do feel is missing in a world that wants to bring everything back nowadays. I totally understand the nostalgia factor, especially with the world as chaotic as it has been lately, people reaching back to simpler times and all that (not saying that's the main reason for so many reboots/revivals, but I do think it is a factor to some degree in some cases), but still...
