Yes. I remember seeing a lot of that with Paget Brewster after she left the show at the end of season 7. People kept hounding her for years about whether or not she'd come back and it was like, "...you do understand the reasons she left - and was forced out - the first time around, right?"

She did ultimately come back, of course, but again, that ties into what I said when I made the secret - we knew ahead of time that she was going to come back, there was no "SURPRISE!" mystery about it, they just announced it. So again, chill out and relax, people. If someone does change their mind and come back, you will know.

And oof, yeah, when the character is killed off, that does add an extra wrinkle, for sure. I suppose on some level it can depend on the kind of show and whether bringing a character back from the dead is plausible in that canon's world, but yeah, even then, like you said, there's still ways to deal with that that don't involve constantly pestering the actor/creators/writers to bring them back just because they personally don't like the ending.
