(Anonymous) 2023-12-27 04:12 am (UTC)(link)So there's some point to be made in that it's yet again a whole lot of women arguing with each other about how to write men.

(Anonymous) 2023-12-27 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)Personally I'd tag because it seems like the thing others might want to find, but if I was in a fandom where it's kind of just taken as general HC that a character is trans? I'd assume trans-fic more often than not if it isn't tagged, it's not rocket science or even slightly hard to presume what the fic might be like in that case.
Like people can find it annoying or whatever I'm not gonna argue about that, but people are acting like others are somehow forcing them to read these fics as if the close button doesn't exist? Back-space, close the tab, these are all tools to stop reading something you don't like, I don't like kid-fic and have run into surprise!babies before and you know what I did? I closed the tab and moved on with my life. It's easy.

(Anonymous) 2023-12-27 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)Just stating, I avoid all kind of vaginal sex, but I do not necessarily expect them in an m/m fic if it's not tagged and figuring this out when the author starts describing a vagina oozing with liquids is already enough to get my mind going to places I'd not want it to go.
At this point I am not really sure why people are so up and arms against a simple tag and try to justify just leaving it off.
