I loved Nirvana in my teens and well into my 20s. I do like a lot of their music but...looking back now in my late 30s, I think it was mostly the energy of "fuck society's hypocrisy" and Kurt's lyricism that appealed to me so much.

There are a lot of other rock acts that made music much more appealing to me that I likely didn't harp on as much about simply because they weren't put onto a pedestal in the same ways Nirvana was
