It took me a long time to understand how I actually felt about Sherlock.

I was seduced by all these fun references in the first episode. I was exactly like that hypothetical comic book movie fan going “oh, oh, look at that thing I remember!”

And then the second episode came around and I didn’t like the feeling of the characters or the mysteries, but I was riding this high of nostalgia and hype. That slowly died off and I still kept watching, just to keep up with my friends.

As someone who often rewatches shows, I’ve never felt the need to go back to Sherlock.
