Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to work on some crochet projects. I am also planning a long weekend trip to Las Vegas with my sister (probably in February). So any recommendations for non-gamblers is welcome!

Because its 12 days after Christmas, I'm going to be taking down the decorations tomorrow. Plus I'm still looking for work and looking into finding a course that might help with finding work (mostly looking into key skills maths, but would like to look into coding too).

We took most of ours down last weekend. Still have some ceiling stuff but I am hate getting the ladder out. I hope you can find some good courses. Are you using something like EdX?

Enjoying relaxing after a busy week. Had two court cases this week. Won my Wednesday case, my client gets to stay in the US and become a permanent resident. Lost my bond case today. But still feel good about the week.

Tomorrow getting a massage. Then taking kitty to the vet for her annual checkup/vaccines. Then taking a nice long nap. Hope to throw in a couple baths this weekend since I got a bunch of bath bombs for Christmas.

Working on a Babylon 5 rewatch.

We were already planning to clean the fridge, but now we have a threatening forecast for late next week (current forecast: low of 16 degrees and 15 inches of snow!!!) so now we will need to fill our newly cleaned fridge with two weeks worth of food, just in case. Figuring out what to eat is what we're both bad at, so it's a weekly struggle. I'm already tired just thinking about it.

As for Vegas, shows are always an option. There's a crime museum in there somewhere that I never managed to go to, and there are lots of nice tours to places outside the city (death valley, hoover dam, painted desert, etc etc).

Man, I used to get food in case of bad weather. But after losing power for days during bad flooding and all our food, I like to keep it light. Lots of pantry stuff though!

Yeah, I think we'll do a show. Maybe Cirque Du Soleil.

At least we're not flooding! If we lose power, we can always just toss our refrigerated and frozen food out onto the balcony so we don't actually lose any of it.

Oooh, are Cirque Du Soleil back? We caught one of their last shows before everything shut down for covid. It was fantastic. You can get really good seats for cheap during the off season.
