(Anonymous) 2024-01-06 05:45 am (UTC)(link)People are allowed to have differing beliefs, true. There are people who believe that the Earth is flat, that dinosaurs never existed, that gay people will burn in hell, that women aren't worth as much as men, that plane contrails are the government dumping chemicals (more than the actual jet engine exhaust and water vapor) to control the masses. And as long as people with these kinds of beliefs announce them on public platforms, others with opposing beliefs are allowed to tell them why they think they are wrong and harmful. Funny how that works.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-06 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)I believe that all women are different from each other, how could we not be? We all have differences in our experiences. I believe that trans women are not less than ciswomen, which I do think that JK Rowling does believe.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-08 05:18 am (UTC)(link)As for being less than regular women, well.......some of them are. A lot of them are just men that are highly autogynephiliac or perhaps "transtrenders".

(Anonymous) 2024-01-06 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)Here's a lingual breakdown: "trans" and "cis" are modifiers, descriptors. If I want to talk about women? I just say women. When I want to talk about blonde women, I say blonde women. That's literally all it is.
I usually don't give enough of a shit about people's biology to reference it in conversation, nor should anyone in an polite society tbh, so calling women "women" is the bar we're trying to achieve. Whatever you want to scream about blonde women, or brunettes who dye their hair blonde, in your own time is your business.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-09 01:40 am (UTC)(link)They're not. Not when it comes to how we should treat them in society as women.
