I do know that cruises are relatively cheap now and the ships are pretty much never more than half full.

I wish I could say the same when I when on a cruise this past April. It was a short Bahamas cruise, but that boat was about at max capacity. The weather was a bit rough half the time, but we were able to make it work. My biggest issue is that they ran out of Sprite, so my drink at dinner ended up changing to club soda.

Sounds like you went during spring break :( August is also pretty busy, but the rest of the year isn’t. You can go online and find 4-10 day long cruises departing within 3 days that will cost you less than $750 for a midgrade room. Chances are you’d pay more for the airfare if you don’t find any all inclusive deals.
