it's all garbage anyway so don't worry about losing out on the shows. enjoy the peace and quiet of not knowing them. lol

Lower Decks fucking rules.

Strange New Worlds is like... passable. It would probably be really good if they were grinding out 20 episodes a year. They still haven't done as many episodes as TNG did in season 1 I don't think. If they got to burn through 20 or 30 episodes to work out the kinks, I think it would be really strong.

Yeah, I definitely liked SNW a lot more in season 1. Season 2 felt like it dropped off a lot, and that's really what I mean about grinding through the episodes - it felt like big growing pains. I think it could be really good if they can get past that, though

See and I like SNW a lot more than Lower Decks. I just struggle to watch it because Pike’s hair is seriously distracting.
I think both shows offer a lot for the lore and fandom, and both are great in their own ways. I think they were meant for the exact same audience but obviously that was never going to happen. Instead there’s a little something for everyone.
