Why didn't I think of this earlier?

I am using one of those travel neck pillow things in bed while scrolling on my phone. So simple, so comfy! Its just been sitting in my closet this whole time.

Anyone else got a little thing that made life easier etc that made you think "why didn't I think of thos earlier?"

Those neck pillows are amazing. I use them as a car passenger, and I also use them in movie theaters.

A couple years back I bought one of those covers for the bathtub upper drain that has always annoyed me. Also got a bath pillow. Makes baths so much more enjoyable.

Been doing it for a bunch of years now (figured it out going to law school in a big, noisy city), but ear plugs and an eye mask for sleeping. Works wonders.

An eye mask for sleeping is so comfortable. It doesn't just shut out the light, there's something about that slight weight that tells my eyelids and brain to shut down.

A heated throw blanket for the couch! Our living room is the coldest room and I hate to "waste" the heat by cranking it just for that room when the rest of the house is fine. I have been in this house 2 years and just now thought about a heated blanket. Game changer!

Making an ao3 account to have a History and be able to have private bookmarks. Idk why I resisted for so long, its super handy!

Emailing myself recipes as reader view so that I can just search by ingredient in the designated folder, try stuff I haven’t made before and only bother properly bookmarking or printing out the ones I know I want to make often.

I took down a cheap ugly print hanging on the side of the pantry and put up hooks for my aprons.
I did find out that apparently my spouse loves the print so I’m relocating it to a more prominent spot. I don’t care, I’m just happy to have a place to hang my aprons instead of stuffing them in top of everything in the pantry :)
