Not gonna lie there's a song from a Christian pop group in the playlist I created for an original piece. I only know about the song because I heard it while working at Gap years ago. Ironically the song got remixed, and the remix (to me) has a dark edge that fits the tone of my piece.

If the title is vague enough you can probably get away with it. That's how it is with the song I've used in this playlist.

I had Christian rock/pop music as one of my top genres on spotify wrapped in 2022 without ever knowing any of those bands I listened to that year where apparently Christian groups (mainly because of liking one song and then the algorithm deciding that's what I wanted to hear). It was kind of a weird discovery and I was kinda embarrased about it so I never shared that particular year's wrapped. And now I keep going back to those songs (which are actually only recognisable as Christian/religion themed at third glance if you know what to look for or not at all) and feel a bit foolish because damn it, they're good songs! But I still feel embarassed about it.
