I'm gonna be that guy and ask: in the age of music streaming (where you can block artists and songs), why on Earth are you listening to music on the radio?

(If you live somewhere without music streaming services, or can't get it for whatever reason, I apologize)

nayrt but...I don't have a phone. my car has a (broken) CD player. if my mp3 player isn't charged or the aux cord is busted, the radio is all there is. shitty as most radio is, everything owned by one of two satellite conglomerates, ugh. damned by poverty again.

there's also the piped in music in every store. I enjoy getting rickrolled in the pasta aisle of the grocery store, but I'd be with OP if I heard any of Carey's music in December.

sometimes I'm stuck with shitty music on the radio because I'm in my friend's car

When I'm in my car and for some reason my Ipod isn't working or won't connect, radio is what I'm stuck with.

I mean. I don't know about you but if you are driving through countryside there are more chances of radio reception.

Also couple of my jobs used to listen to radio as background (evil)

Streaming services cost money. Also my old car has no sort of bluetooth or anyway to stream music, so its a default in the car.
