This show isn't my thing, but I've never seen anything bad from the fandom, just people loving it a hell of a lot more than I can, and good for them. If the fans had tried to pressure you to watch it and called you a homophobe or a bad queer for not liking it I'd understand your schadenfreude, but they don't seem to be like that (all fandoms have their assholes, but OFMD never struck me as a "toxic fandom") so you just sound ridiculously self-centered here.

Not anon who wrote the secret, but I feel the same way.

I have actually been bullied about being a "bad queer" because I don't get the appeal of OFMD. I don't like it. It's just not a funny show to me at all.

Just because you've seen the good parts of the fandom does not mean others regularly experience that.

I am going to chime in too. Most of my experience was decent. A bit annoying because people being passionate about something you are meh about can be.
BUT
I also met some absolutely rancid takes. Yes, with people saying that you must love it or else. So depending on a luck one get varied experience

Oh man, my experience was the complete opposite. Finding non-toxic fans was a struggle for me and I ended up just leaving.
