Moose! I know I’ll be terrified and ideally I won’t be in immediate danger. I’ve made two trips so far in hopes of seeing one but I always just miss them :(

They aren't that scary! I mean they're huge and if one comes near you, yeah, scary. But you generally see them from far away and they're just standing there grazing, like giant monster deer. I hope you see one!

I saw a moose in Canada when I was canoeing, teenage me back in 1991 had no idea how much it could have fucked us all up if it wasn't just going about its business feeding in a river channel. It didn't seem big from a distance, at least.
