3/4 of my household is in week 2 of covid, the 4th managed to dodge it by way of having a ruptured appendix. The home tests are registering positive more clearly today than they were 8 days ago so I don't know what *that* means, but I'm so tired of being sick. This is the first time the three of us have gotten it and we've all been diligent about masking and keeping our jabs up-to-date, I think we got it from the hospital cafeteria given all three of us came down with it at the same time and it's the only public place we weren't masked, and I'm thankful we didn't pass it on to the patient. (She's recovering in our neighbor's house now, they're away for the winter and we always make sure their pipes don't freeze so they were fine with her using their house to stay away from us while WE recover.)

anyway, covid sucks, sympathy and solidarity

I've gotten it before so really hoping I don't get it again. Last time permanently changed how I smell and taste some things.
