Yes! But it's also why I am worried about the face they've announced a second season of Blood of Youth starring the same cast. If it were like the prequel (which deals with a previous generation) it would be one thing but the fact it's the same characters just leaves me sighing. They were all left in a great place with a wide open wonderful world of possibilities, there is very little chance continuing their story will do much other than muck that up.

I'm concerned, too. Like I'd love to see more of their adventures in the jianghu, but... a little worried about how it'll play out and whether or not the people making it understand that the big draw for a lot of people were the themes of friendship, and not, say, a big ol' messy love triangle or some other nonsense.
