True. I just think it would have been nice to actually get to see her in the role for more than three minutes before getting told she won't be in it for more than ten. Little point in letting yourself care about a character if you know she's only going to be around for a hot second.

midgar arc = amazing
rest of the game = meh forgettable and kinda lost the plot multiple times tbh
sephiroth was utterly dull. id rather have had avalanche vs shinra the whole game

Agreed! I liked her just fine for the special but couldn’t get excited about Rose 2.0 long term. It’s a relief that we’re getting a new companion.

i can't speak for other ST fans but it was just so OOC (like the other TNG movies) and even the camp factor was not enough to tolerate it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
