Gonna "um, actually" you here... but only to say that the deepest mapped part of the ocean is ~2 leagues.

Plenty of unmapped ocean to go around, so there's a pretty substantial chance that there could be deeper parts.

You're still not going to get more than a double-handful of leagues depth-wise.

Certainly not 20k, which, even by the smallest definition of a league, is more than 3 times the diameter of the Earth.
