Same here. I don't understand how people manage to love it so much and I don't understand how it's supposedly dragged all these new players into the hobby. Which, okay, cool, new people, but also it's a lot of new people who want to play like that and who most of the time aren't open to actual RPG but just D&D on top wanting to play that specific way.

So yeah, whether OP might have a weird choice in OC or not, I still understand the frustration with players who have this CR background. I wouldn't really want to play with them either even if I were rolling dice with the nicest OC around.
