"Korean sounds like Japanese so if you're fine with Jdramas you should be fine with Korean" is pretty racist itself. I would venture to say more so than the OP having a personal dislike for the sound of Korean. They do not sound alike. Ask someone who actually speaks Korean or Japanese, they will be the first to tell you that. They have some shared-origin words here and there, but then you might as well say both those languages sound like English because they have a lot of English loanwords.

That's a fair criticism, but I still think it's messed up to dismiss the works of an entire country due to not liking the way its people speak.

Where did OP say they're dismissing the works of an entire country? Cause they say, very plainly, in the secret that "KDramas have interesting story and editing..." They recognize the talent of the artists and the worth of works of an entire country, but they don't like the literal sounds. That says they have preferences for how things sound, not a bias against the people or culture of a country....
