They're not someone that's well-known among the general public, but very popular in my super small/niche fandom. I want to reply but don't want to be creepy or cringey and my experience dealing with famous people is zero lol. What do I say? (I'm going to directly reply to the comment itself but also wanted to mention something about being excited that they replied to me and I'm a huge fan or something but that sounds embarrassing and not like something I'd actually want to say.)

Just talk to them as you would any another human being online. It's literally just another person you are speaking to.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. As soon as I posted this I was like "what am I doing, they're just another human, no need to make it weird" lol.
