*Take pictures!!! I always regret not taking enough pictures.

This is highly subjective. I am not a picture taking kind of person at all. I almost never take pictures at special occasions/events, and I never regret it. I'll go to events with friends/family and see how often they're taking pictures and it seems like they miss a lot...if anything I feel like I would regret it if I did take pictures. Not worrying about taking pictures allows me to focus 100% on what's happening at that moment, and I've never once thought about a past event and thought "I wish I had pictures". I have pictures of events from several years ago before I realized it was (IMO) pointless, and it honestly never occurs to me to look at them.

Maybe OP is the type of person who loves pictures so maybe this advice is good for them, but I just wanted to put a different perspective out there...not everyone would regret not taking pictures.
